Overview

Actuarial studies provides advanced training in risk modelling, statistics and actuarial mathematics to address complex problems in insurance, superannuation, investments and risk management under uncertainty. In this honours year you will undertake a substantial independent research project, deepen your knowledge of econometrics, statistical theory and machine learning, and strengthen your problem-solving, communication and ethical decision-making abilities. The curriculum aligns with Actuaries Institute professional requirements and prepares you for senior actuary roles, high-level financial consulting and doctoral research pathways.
