Overview
In this specialisation you will learn advanced aspects of computer science including a detailed study of programming paradigms, especially object-oriented programming and parallel computing. This will be enhanced with experience in constructing, manipulating and analysing the performance of advanced algorithms and data-structures.
Availability
Algorithms and software is available in C2001 Bachelor of Computer Science at Clayton and Malaysia and in C3001 Bachelor of Computer Science Advanced (Honours) at Clayton as an undergraduate specialisation.

Note: If you are in the double degree course with the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) completing the software engineering specialisation you must replace FIT2099 with a Level 2 or above FIT-coded elective.
Level 3 elective unit6 credit points
If you are selected to participate in the IBL placement program you will replace this Level 3 elective unit with 6 credit points of the 18 credit point IBL unit (FIT3045).
