Overview
Business analytics develops the quantitative expertise and technical proficiency required to transform data into insights in the presence of uncertainty. You will learn to wrangle data into tidy form, explore data numerically and visually, build predictive models for forecasting, operational performance, decision-making and understanding. Grounded in statistical thinking and the responsible, ethical use of AI and data, and supported by powerful open-source software, this training equips you to explore data with curiosity while questioning findings with rigour to better navigate the world. Assessments test practical application, theoretical knowledge, and effective communication of findings. This major prepares you for positions such as statistician, data scientist, sports analyst, or consultant in analytics groups in business, government, or academia.
