Notes
The BE(Hons) course requires 36 credit points of Engineering electives across Years 2, 3 and 4. These electives must comprise:
• 12 credit points of Level 1, 2 or 3 Engineering elective units; and
• 24 credit points of Level 3 or 4 Engineering units.
Of the 36 credit points of electives, 24 credit points may be used to complete an Engineering minor (four units).
If you commence an Engineering minor but do not complete all four units, any units you have successfully completed towards the minor will count as Engineering electives. You must then complete sufficient additional Engineering electives to meet the overall 36 credit-point elective requirement and the requirements for the level of study specified above.
Please plan your enrolment carefully to ensure you continue to meet the course requirements and remain on track to complete your course within the expected timeframe. Refer to your course map and seek course advice.
Note 1: Level 1 units across your entire course, including core and elective units, must not exceed 60 credit points in total.
Note 2: This Area of Study was previously coded as DCBNZMNR01.
