Overview

This specialisation will prepare you for undertaking graduate research in the discipline of Economics. You will develop a deep understanding of the latest academic approaches in Economics through coursework units that will equip you with foundational expertise for successful doctoral research. You will learn contemporary research methods and put them into practice by designing and conducting academically rigorous research projects. As part of the Economics academic community, you will have the opportunity to work with a range of academic staff and can refine your individual research aspirations for the doctoral program.

Structure

Part A. Research studies48 credit points
You must complete 48 credit points of units at Level 4 and 5 from Economics, Econometrics or other areas of study, to be chosen in consultation with the Course director. These units may be selected from the below-recommended list.

If you are considering ECC4650 or ECC5650, you may only choose to complete one of the two units, to be included in your 48 credit points.
If you are considering ECC4660 or ECC5660, you may only choose to complete one of the two units, to be included in your 48 credit points.
