The Bachelor of Media Communication degree responds to the global demand for skilled professionals with a deep understanding of media’s role in society, cultural and economic life and advanced communication skills. You will engage in critical analysis, develop professional communication practices, and choose from specialisations in Journalism, Media, Public Relations, or Screen. Core coursework emphasises practical experience through the Monash Media Lab, fostering both analytical and practical skills. The curriculum is designed to build cross-cultural competency and social awareness, equipping you for diverse roles such as journalists, media content coordinators, screen creators, public relations professionals, and more.
The Bachelor of Music focuses on developing high-level performance skills and a deep understanding of music theory, history, and context.
