This double master's degree will prepare you with the skills required to practice in organisational environments, in relation to the Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME), and will complement this skillset with interdisciplinary behavioural and systemic approaches to create lasting positive impact. You will develop multi-faceted approaches to internal and external strategy; leadership, management, and collaborative work; and the ability to design and implement projects to advance organisational and societal change in roles across a range of sectors and bring about sustainable futures.
The course is suitable for those who occupy or aspire to management positions in business, government, community, service and non-profit organisations. It's designed to provide you with a comprehensive, intellectually demanding and up-to-date understanding of human resource management theory and change-oriented theories from behavioural psychology and economics, social and political sciences, with a practice-based approach on how to apply them to address the grand challenges of our time.

Master of Management
The Master of Management is structured in three parts: Part A. Core studies, Part B. Discipline studies and Part C. Elective studies. In this double degree course you complete:
Part A. Core studies
These units will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of core management principles, contemporary practice and leadership and their impact on multi-discipline decision-making in organisations. These units will develop your capacity as an innovative future-ready professional who is able to apply specialist knowledge to complex management issues.
Part B. Discipline studies
These units develop your capacity as a critical and creative professional who can apply advanced management knowledge to analyse complex organisational issues. You will build the skills to evaluate theories, apply evidence-based practices, and design innovative solutions that enhance leadership, strategy, and sustainable performance in diverse organisational contexts. Selected units within this part are accredited by the Australian HR Institute (AHRI).
Master of Behaviour and Systemic Change
The Master of Behaviour and Systemic Change is structured in two parts Part A. Core studies and Part B. Extended study. In this double degree course you complete:
Part A. Core studies
These units establish the core concepts, skills, theories and methodologies required to research and practise behavioural and systemic change in complex contexts. Together they provide a comprehensive toolkit to develop and apply a solution-focus to any sustainable development or societal challenge. Core studies include BAS5555, a unit containing a substantial professional/research project component.

You must complete 96 points, of which 48 points are from the Master of Management (including all the requirements in Part A and Part B for the single degree) and 48 points from the Master of Behaviour and Systemic Change (including all of the requirements in Part A for the single degree).
Note: ENS5530 cannot be taken in the double degree with the Master of Management. You must complete either BEX5411 or APG5367 in Part A.
