The Master of Global Business and Master of Public Policy offers you a multidisciplinary perspective on global business and public policy. This double degree combines knowledge of the contemporary global environment in which business operates with the practical knowledge and skills you need in policy-making and public sector management. By pursuing this double degree, you will develop into a leader capable of inspiring and driving social and organisational change. You will be equipped with an understanding of the complexity of global issues and what they mean for public policy practitioners, engaging with governments to shape, negotiate, and implement policy agendas.

Master of Global Business
The Master of Global Business is structured in three parts. Part A. Core studies, Part B. Capstone studies and Part C. Elective studies. In the double degree course you complete:
Part A. Core studies
The focus of these studies is to develop your knowledge and skills as a critical and creative professional who can apply their understanding and knowledge of the global business and politics environments in order to contribute to solutions that address contemporary global issues
Part B. Capstone studies
These studies are designed to consolidate the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the study of your course.
Master of Public Policy
The Master of Public Policy is structured into four parts: Part A. Core studies, Part B. Professional practice studies, Part C. Applied studies, and Part D. Specified elective studies. In the double degree course you complete:
Part A. Core studies
These studies will introduce you to public policy theory and practice at an advanced graduate level. Throughout these studies, you will gain practical knowledge and skills that will provide a solid foundation for the specialist studies units undertaken in the program.
Part C. Applied studies
The focus of these studies is professional and project work, focused locally or globally, that can contribute to a portfolio of professional development. In this part of the program you can also undertake higher level research.
Part D. Specified elective studies
The focus of these studies is to develop your expertise in a specialisation: Policy studies or Global studies. These will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed for the capacity to work and communicate across the borders of context or discipline.

You must complete 96 points, of which 48 points are from the Master of Global Business (including all the requirements in Part A and B for the single degree) and 48 points from the Master of Public Policy (including Part A (24 credit points), Part C (12 credit points) and Part D (12 credit points). In Part D you must complete two units (12 points) from the elective lists available in your specialisation, except BTF5905 Global trade governance or MGF5730 International trade policy or MGF5911 Geo-politics and business globalisation as these units have been completed in PART A of the Global Business course.
