This course consists of supervised research and coursework components.

Course requirements

You can commence in either first or second semester:

  • full-time students complete BEH4100 and BEH4200 in their first semester of study and BEH4300 in their second semester
  • part-time students complete BEH4100 and BEH4200 in year one and BEH4300 in year two.

This course comprises 48 points

You must complete:

BEH4100 Research literature review (12 points)
BEH4200 Research proposal, design and ethics (12 points)
BEH4300 Research report (24 points)

You can commence in either first or second semester:

    review, analyse, consolidate and synthesise a variety of resources in order to respond to community based emergency health issues based on science, knowledge and evidence.

Monash minimum: Level C, that is: IELTS: 7.0 overall (no band lower than 6.5); or TOEFL Paper-based test: 587 with a TWE of 4.5; or TOEFL Internet-based test: score of 94 overall with minimum scores: Writing: 24, Listening: 20, Reading: 19 and Speaking: 20; or Equivalent approved English test
