The course is purpose-designed to support your professional development for a career in psychology or a related profession, discipline, or industry, including allied health and community services, business, government, research and academia.
In this course, you will take a whole-person approach to your development, encompassing your learning of both psychology and yourself. You will explore and build your knowledge in a range of advanced topics, including research design and methods, ethical decision-making in psychology practice and research, psychological assessment and intervention, and career pathways both within and beyond psychology. You will also undertake study in your choice of clinical and developmental neuroscience or contemporary applications of psychology.

These include interpersonal skills for safe and effective communication, collaboration and connections, along with critical thinking, reflexivity, and cultural responsiveness. Together with advanced psychological knowledge, your learning in these skills will enable you to develop your fitness for practice as a professional in the workplace. A range of engaging resources, student-centred teaching, and authentic assessments will support your learning journey and assist you with preparing for your career, whether in psychology or a range of other fields.
