Synopsis
This unit will equip you with a keen awareness of and appreciation for the history of research in accounting in your specialist sub-discipline as well as across different domain areas and research traditions. The content can be relatively flexible, but faculty could be invited to identify a series of seminal articles to be used in the unit. Based on the current honours units, the content could be relatively evenly split between financial accounting, management accounting, auditing and accounting information systems.
