Overview

This international study tour will be based at the University of Oxford (United Kingdom). The unit focuses on international and comparative criminal justice policy and introduces students to public, private and non-government organisations involved in the criminal justice system in England and Wales. The roles of these different sectors and their influence on public policy will be explored. In this unit, students will examine key aspects of criminal justice policy making in response to key challenges in the UK, as well as other international contexts. This study tour will allow students to engage with industry and speak to key criminal justice practitioners and policy-makers.
