Conference interpreting

This unit will train interpreting students in the skills of long consecutive interpreting and simultaneous interpreting of seen and unseen speeches. You will build on your existing, well-developed skills in dialogue, consecutive and simultaneous interpreting, and in sight translation. You will work in simulated conference interpreting settings in a relevant thematic area and will be familiarised with the research literature relevant to this setting.
