This unit explores environmental systems as they relate to the performance of architectural design and construction. This includes application of environmental design principles to improve the performance and sustainability of the construction and operation of buildings at various scales. Analysis of environmental systems will be conducted with a focus on building performance as a means of addressing climate change and supporting sustainable development.
