You will undertake advanced studies in three selected topics in astrophysics and related fields.
These extend your expertise in theoretical and computational astrophysics, data analysis and the skills required to effectively communicate your findings using contemporary communication tools.
The topics are:
- Radiation astrophysics
- Order of magnitude astrophysics
- Special topics in Contemporary astrophysics
NB: Subject to approval by the Chief Examiner, one of the topics in ASP5021 may be replaced by a topic from PHS5021.
