Overview

In this unit you will examine how governments across the world are structured, organised and operate. You will explore the effects of these arrangements on the rights and opportunities of citizens subject to these systems. You will explore topics  including the structure and powers of executive, legislative, and judicial branches, electoral systems, party systems, and the opportunities available to civil society.

When you finish this unit, you should be able to:
