Synopsis
In this unit you will undertake teaching and learning activities to equally develop language skills and cultural competence. You will extend your exposition and argument skills, with a focus on specific expository techniques: document synthesis and oral presentation of a sustained argument involving critical awareness of issues in contemporary Europe and other countries where French, German, Italian and Spanish are spoken. You will develop advanced language skills and competence in the theory, research methodology and practices, and discourses involved in sophisticated critical enquiry, understanding and analysis in an area of French and Francophone studies, German studies, Italian studies, or Spanish and Latin American studies, working under guidance to define and carry out a project.
