Overview

This unit offers you the opportunity to experience highly authentic work-place practice through a professional experience simulation, an innovative alternative or complement to more traditional internship or work placements. You will be assigned a particular media role in an organization for the duration of the unit and will need to work closely on diverse media projects with peers to respond to a real-world scenario -developed in consultation with our media industry partners. To be successful you will need to harness and apply the skills and knowledge acquired in your coursework, and moblise both your media expertise and your ability to collaborate closely within a team. This fast-paced environment will create a unique opportunity for you to showcase your readiness for the professional world with authentic, workplace-oriented assessments and performance expectations.
