Overview

Students will learn fundamental ensemble leadership techniques, including basic beat patterns, communication and organisational skills required by an ensemble director. Students will be required to propose a program of works to be arranged and/or conducted for performance by an approved ensemble. Students will develop approaches to interpretation, and refine baton techniques specific to their program choice.
