Overview
A major in music allows you to develop the necessary critical, analytical and interpretive skills to investigate various areas of musical thought and practice. In addition to the contextual study of music, you may participate in a range of music ensembles through the Ensemble Studies units, some of which are subject to audition, and undertake overseas study units. The major in music within the Bachelor of Arts is available to students with no prior music experience.
