Overview
A major in music allows you to develop the necessary critical, analytical and interpretive skills to investigate various areas of music, including western art music, popular and world music, as well as opportunities to pursue practices related to the music industry. Furthermore, you may choose to participate in a range of small and large music ensembles, some of which are subject to audition, and undertake overseas study units. The major in music within the Bachelor of Arts is available to students with no prior music experience.
