Business Administration
B2007 Bachelor of Administration is a comprehensive course, structured in three equal parts. In the double degree course you complete the following two parts:
Part A. Business administration specified study
This will provide you with a broad foundation for your study of business and expose you to several business disciplines. It will contribute breadth to your knowledge of business and develop your understanding of multi-disciplinary decision making in organisations. It will also give you the opportunity to learn more about each discipline before finalising your choice of major.
Part B. Business administration listed major
This will provide you with a focused program of study that will develop your expertise. You will develop, apply and communicate an advanced level of understanding of the concepts and theoretical frameworks that constitute the knowledge base of your major area of study.
Arts
A2000 Bachelor of Arts is a comprehensive course, structured in three equal parts. In the double degree course you complete the following two parts:
Part A. Arts listed major
This will provide you with a focused program of study that will develop your practical and theoretical skills and knowledge in one Faculty of Arts listed major area of study. You will learn to critically analyse, apply and communicate an advanced level of understanding of the concepts and theoretical frameworks that constitute the knowledge base of the area of study.
Part B. Arts specified study
This will expose you to several arts disciplines contributing breadth to your knowledge of the arts, humanities and social sciences. You will have the flexibility of learning about several areas of study before finalising your choice of major. You will also build skills and abilities that employers value and seek by completing units from the Professional Futures domains.

You must complete 192 points, of which 96 points are from the Bachelor of Business Administration (including all the requirements in Part A and B for the single degree) and 96 points from the Bachelor of Arts (including all the requirements in Part A and B for the single degree).

70; International: UERT Year 12/Foundation Band 3 (80 - 82.49); UERT Post-secondary Band 2 (Credit)
Other applicants
All applicants must satisfy the equivalence of the VCE subject prerequisites.
VET Diploma graduates:
To be considered, applicants who have completed a Humanities or Social Science based diploma will require an average result of at least 60%. Programs that involve competency-based assessment without grades or marks will not meet the admission requirements.
VET Certificate IV graduates:
To be considered, applicants with Humanities or Social Science based certificate IV level studies will require average results of at least 70%. For applicants who have also completed VCE, both qualifications will be considered. No credit is granted for these studies.
University:
Two single units at an Australian higher education institution satisfy minimum entry requirements, but more units may be useful for selection, especially in areas of study related to the course in which admission is being sought. Applicants should have at least a 60% average in their studies. Studies must have been completed within five years of intended commencement.
English language
Monash Minimum: Level A, that is: IELTS (Academic): 6.5 overall (no band lower than 6.0); or Pearson Test of English (Academic): score of 58 overall with no band lower than 50; or TOEFL Internet-based test: score of 79 overall with minimum scores: Writing: 21, Listening: 12, Reading: 13 and Speaking: 18; or Equivalent approved English test

Progression to further studies
Successful completion of this course may provide a pathway to one of the following courses:
- Bachelor of Commerce (Honours). To be eligible to apply for entry into the Bachelor of Commerce (Honours), you must obtain a distinction grade average (70%) or above in 24 credit points of studies in relevant discipline units at level 3.
- Bachelor of Arts (Honours). To be eligible to apply for entry into the Bachelor of Arts (Honours), you must have completed a major within your chosen honours area of study and obtained a distinction grade average (70%) or above in 24 credit points of studies in relevant units at level two and three, of which 24 credit points must be at level three in the major in which you wish to undertake honours. For some majors, completion of specific units or their equivalent are required for admission to honours. The details are provided with the requirements for each major to which this applies.
Master's accelerated pathway
High achieving students, who have completed all of the requirements for the Bachelor of Arts and are in good standing with the faculty, may be able to progress to a master's course in the faculty of Arts.
