ATS3945
Synopsis
In this unit you will build on the critical and analytical skills acquired throughout your degree and apply them to some of the current issues in contemporary policing. You will explore key challenges that police encounter in your daily practice such as family and domestic violence, those suffering acute mental distress, and other vulnerable populations. You will also engage with the latest research pertaining to those groups that tend to be over-represented throughout the criminal justice system.
