Synopsis
This unit examines commercial and economic issues surrounding agriculture and global food supply. You will explore world food supply and demand, the development of agriculture globally, the natural and market conditions that determine the nature of agricultural activity, along with the characteristics of agribusinesses that determine how well they perform. You will be introduced to key principles to the understanding and application of industry networks, value adding chains, product-market requirements, competition and innovation.
