Synopsis

This introductory unit provides Indigenous leaders with an overview of the cultural, political, environmental, legal, ethical, social, economic and technological contexts in which business operates, including the Indigenous relationship with the business environment. The unit develops skills in researching, decision-making, and communicating persuasively. Understanding and analysing industry dynamics and managing business in an evolving environment will be addressed. This includes the potential impact of business disruption and technological change. The unit will build the capacity of Australia’s First Peoples to assert their identity, influence and impact on business.
