BMA1011
Synopsis
This unit is the first of two units designed to educate allied health and health science students about the anatomical structures and physiological functions of the systems of the human body. You will be introduced to the structural and functional relationships of the integumentary, musculoskeletal and nervous systems and how they work together to maintain homeostasis.
Throughout the unit, real world connections will be made with the systems addressed so that you will understand the relevance of the topics included in the unit to the health and human science disciplines.
This unit will be taught using a combination of online and face-to-face classes that emphasise the use of active and collaborative learning to promote student understanding and engagement.
