Foundations of anatomy and physiology for health practice 2

BMA1012

Synopsis

This unit is the second of two units designed to educate allied health and health science students about the anatomical structures and physiological functions of the systems of the human body.  You will be introduced to the structural and functional relationships of the cardiovascular, respiratory, endocrine, digestive, renal, immune and reproductive systems and how they work together to support life and maintain homeostasis.

Throughout the unit, real world connections will be made with the systems addressed so that you will understand the relevance of the topics included in the unit to the health and human science disciplines.
