CIV5100
Synopsis
In this unit, you will be introduced to autonomous systems broadly and autonomous vehicle (AV) systems, in particular, along with how these technologies are developed. You will gain foundational systems engineering knowledge of AVs, including their core building blocks, how they are designed, integrated and coordinated to achieve fully autonomous driving in complex and unpredictable environments. It will also support your learning by providing opportunities to engage with autonomous vehicle technologies and explore the processes involved in testing, validating, and refining these systems for real-world use.
