Synopsis
This unit examines contemporary practice in the design and management of a safe and sustainable road system. It will build up your fundamental understanding of road hierarchy and a Safe System approach to road safety. You will learn how to use road design, parking management and emerging technologies to encourage sustainable travel (on-road public transport, walking and micromobility).
