Overview

This unit exposes you to the fundamentals of the three components to the traffic system: the vehicle, the driver and the road environment. The emphasis is on the application of theory to practice in solving traffic-related problems. The unit covers the road traffic system, traffic networks, traffic design elements, intersection design and control and advanced analytic techniques.
