Video production design 2

DGN2602

Synopsis

This unit deepens your understanding of cinematic production by introducing advanced techniques in video design and storytelling. Building on the foundations established in the first Video production design unit (DGN2601), you will explore complex production environments that combine traditional filmmaking methods with emerging AI-driven tools. Emphasis is placed on advanced cinematography, green screen integration, lighting design, on-location audio capture, and ADR (Automated Dialogue Replacement). Through individual and collaborative projects, you will experiment with AI-assisted workflows across scripting, visual generation, and post-production. The unit encourages creative innovation while reinforcing narrative clarity, visual composition, and technical precision across both fiction and documentary formats.
