When you finish this unit, you should be able to:

FIRST SEMESTER: apply economic principles to explain and analyse economic decisions
SECOND SEMESTER: apply economics principles, concepts, tools and theories to explain individual decision-making

FIRST SEMESTER: explain the nature and the role of theory and models in economic analysis, and use them to describe individual behaviour as well as the main features and outcomes of various market structures
SECOND SEMESTER: critically assess the effects of government policy or exogenous variables on economic concerns such as social welfare, market efficiency and international trade

FIRST SEMESTER: critically evaluate the effects of government policy on economic issues, including social welfare, market efficiency, and international trade
SECOND SEMESTER: analyse and illustrate economic information in various ways, including diagrams, tables and graphs.
