Knowledge and context

This unit explores the relationships between knowledge and context as students consider the knowledge developed outside the formal degree structure and examine the use of transferrable knowledge at university and in other contexts. Students will identify, compare, contrast and discuss a range of knowledge theories and key pedagogical approaches from a range of disciplines to build a deeper understanding of learning across different contexts.
