Synopsis
This unit focuses on significant aspects of adolescent development and the implications for teachers. You will further your understanding of relevant, evidence-based research into adolescent development and will be encouraged to develop critical perspectives in this field. The unit considers psychological, motivational, social, cognitive, biological and sociocultural perspectives of adolescent development and learning. You will inquire into interpersonal and teaching strategies for teaching and learning with adolescents based on contemporary knowledge of adolescent development.
