Synopsis

This unit develops your understanding of how you can respond to diversity in classrooms based on a range of characteristics and factors including learner’s physical, social and intellectual characteristics as well as linguistic, cultural, language, religious and socio-economic factors. You will develop knowledge and understanding of a repertoire of inclusive strategies for differentiating teaching in order to meet the specific learning needs of learners across the full range of abilities, and maximise the learning outcomes and full participation of all learners. You will develop and demonstrate understanding of legislative requirements that support participation of learners with disability.
