Teaching performance assessment

EDF4068

Synopsis

This unit has been designed to be taken in conjunction with your final professional experience placement.

This unit prepares you for your transition into professional practice as a teacher and invites you to develop a deep and actionable understanding of your current and future role as a teacher. Drawing on a range of research evidence and the knowledge, skills and professional experiences developed during your course, you will complete a teaching performance assessment (TPA) in which you will plan, teach, assess, analyse a range of evidence, and critically reflect on your performance. You will depict your progress against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers at the Graduate level and against the graduate attributes as evidence of your impact on learner’s learning and your readiness to teach.
