Synopsis
This unit enables you to understand the scope of digital technologies in secondary school (Years 7 to 12). It provides you with opportunities to develop advanced knowledge and skills relevant to teaching about, with and through digital technologies with a particular emphasis on the junior levels in secondary schools. This includes the use of digital systems to represent understandings, conceptualise and manage ideas, to create and communicate, to engage critically with the impacts of technology on society and education, and to develop an understanding of the relationship between digital technologies curriculum content and pedagogy.
