Global conservation and biodiversity

ENV2726 will expose you to the biodiversity and biological resources in the local and global platforms. You will carry out four case studies: two case studies examine in-depth local biodiversity and conservation issues and two case studies will examine the global threats to biodiversity and biological resources. The lectures will cover reasons for, and methods of, measuring and monitoring species, populations, habitats, communities and ecosystems. These topics are explored with the aim of addressing environmental problems we faced today.
