Calculus 2
ETM1020
Synopsis
In this unit, you will learn several mathematical concepts and techniques in advanced calculus. Specifically, you will be exposed to the fundamental concepts and important theories related to the study of complex numbers, solutions of first and second-order differential equations, Laplace transforms, multiple integration, and linear algebra including systems of linear equations, Gaussian eliminations, intermediate matrix algebra, and the Cayley-Hamilton theorem. Upon unit completion, you will develop advanced mathematical skills in complex number theory, integration, differential equations and linear algebra which will provide sufficient expertise for use in the subsequent units.
