Overview
This unit provides a comprehensive exploration of cybersecurity and vulnerability analysis in the context of cloud environments and various other systems. A variety of cutting-edge tools and methodologies, including reverse engineering, endpoint detection, and threat intelligence are to be used in order to identify and respond to malicious activities, uncover vulnerabilities, and potential exploits in enterprise systems. Additionally, students will learn the crucial skill of employing side-channel analysis techniques to detect and mitigate vulnerabilities associated with information leakage from cryptographic implementations and hardware devices. The unit also focuses on developing the expertise to design and implement comprehensive vulnerability mitigation and response strategies for various systems, including cloud, endpoint, and mobile operating systems. By the end of this course, students will be well-prepared to address advanced cybersecurity challenges and enhance the security posture of complex systems.
Offerings in 2025
