Synopsis

in today’s fast paced innovation-driven world, leveraging AI and other advanced technologies to develop impactful and practical solutions for real-world problems and convert these innovations into successful tech startups is a critical skill. This unit will equip you with the knowledge and tools to identify opportunities for creating deep tech start-ups, develop viable business strategies by understanding how investors value technology start-ups, understand how to develop pricing models for AI/deep tech enterprise solutions, and understand the technology architectures and testing frameworks to build scalable technology-based ventures. It integrates foundational programming with software engineering, human-centered computing and emerging tech like AI, cybersecurity, and immersive media ensuring you can apply these technical skills in an entrepreneurial context. 

A key focus will be on leveraging state-of-the-art AI models to solve real-world problems, particularly in cybersecurity, finance, healthcare, interactive media including gaming, AR/VR and other high-growth verticals. You will explore strategies for market validation, start-up building, and integrating these advanced technologies into products and solutions. The unit will emphasize on how concepts from software engineering and human centered computing are key elements in turning technology innovations into market-ready products.

By the end of this unit, you will have the practical skills and insights to lead technology-driven innovations, build and scale start-ups, and navigate funding strategies and team dynamics. The curriculum will be underpinned by real-world experience through sessions with start-up founders and industry experts, empowering you to create, scale, and run your own ventures successfully.
