Synopsis
This internship unit gives you real-world experience in clinical or research genomics in commercial or hospital-based environments. Senior staff at the host organisation will mentor you in professional clinical/research genomics using a work integrated learning framework. You will develop skills that include ethically working with patient data, variant calling, report writing and working in a team environment. The unit coordinator will monitor your work and provide additional support and mentoring.
