Synopsis
In this unit, you will develop knowledge and skills to enhance your education career, whether you are teaching at pre-registration level, preceptoring students on clinical placement, or supporting clinical education in your workplace. You will gain knowledge of educational theories and teaching strategies to optimise learning in the health professions across many and varied contexts.
You will develop and apply skills in curriculum and lesson planning, teaching, assessment, feedback, and evaluation for learners and programs. On completion of the unit, you will be able to articulate your own philosophy of education in the health professions and have a plan for further learning in health professions education.
