Leadership for organisational advancement
LEO5001
Synopsis
As organisations become increasingly virtual, complex, and dynamic, leadership emerges in new forms to meet new opportunities. This unit explores the contemporary practice of leadership and prepares participants to influence others ethically, in emergent environments, without reliance on formal authority, and no matter their hierarchical level. Building on foundational concepts and models of leadership practice and organisational behaviour, the unit provides you with opportunities to reflect on your personal experiences of leadership and further develop your leadership practice in contemporary contexts.
