Overview
In today’s dynamic business environment, organisations are eager to work with people who have strong problem-solving skills based on sound research practices. This unit will enable students to develop research and critical thinking skills based on multivariate statistical research techniques. Utilising the statistical software package, SPSS, students will learn about topics including regression analysis, analysis of variance, as well as an introduction to mediation and moderation modelling techniques. By solving practical problems, students will learn how to follow the research process, confidently formulate research questions, communicate research findings and how the findings can influence business practices. This unit is for students who to want know how using great research is often a key point-of-difference for great organisations.
