When you finish this unit, you should be able to:

Apply core concepts of vector spaces and linear transformations to model and solve mathematical problems;

Analyse and compute eigenvalues, eigenvectors, and diagonalisation, and interpret their applications;

Employ inner product methods, matrix decompositions, and computational tools to address applied problems such as least-squares approximation;

Communicate mathematical reasoning clearly and effectively in both written and oral forms.
