Synopsis
In this unit you will have the opportunity to review anatomy, physiology and function of skin, explore the phases of wound healing, define different types of healing, as well as summarise cellular processes involved in wound healing. Learning opportunities will help you develop your critical appraisal skills in wound literature and analyse factors enhance and/or delay healing. This knowledge will enable you to apply these principles into practice using case-based learning.
