This unit will also facilitate the development of skills in screening and the assessment of common mental health disorders and in planning and evaluating person-centred mental health nursing interventions that are recovery focused. Additionally, you will explore legal and ethical issues, and policies pertaining to mental health nursing that support care delivery, inform safe practice and optimise health outcomes for consumers, their families and caregivers.
