Synopsis
In this unit, you will explore how food and nutrition policies influence public health, with a focus on Malaysia’s national nutrition strategies. You will analyse policies addressing key issues such as malnutrition, obesity, and food security, while also evaluating global approaches to nutrition governance.
Throughout the unit, you will engage in case studies, policy analysis, and discussions, enabling you to develop evidence-based policy recommendations that consider economic, cultural, and environmental factors. By applying critical thinking and research skills, you will learn to propose innovative solutions to nutrition-related challenges.
