Overview

This unit is designed to facilitate  your  transition to a graduate occupational therapist within evolving practice contexts, including health, education and social care environments. The unit will address topics related to professionalism, issues related to changing practice contexts, professional identity, preparation for employment, and managing change. The unit focuses on two broad conceptual areas:

  1. The Australian Occupational Therapy Competency Standards, comprising the knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes of a graduate occupational therapist; and,

 2. Contemporary occupational therapy practice in complex and evolving service delivery environments.
